Join us for an North Georgia autumn fling in the beautiful north Georgia mountains!
We are combining a day to Georgia's highest point, Brasstown Bald, along with the German inspired town of Helen, known for its charm, outdoor adventure, and historic shops. You will have opportunity to purchase lunch on your own while in Helen, as we will stop here for a couple of hours on our way to Brasstown Bald.
Once at Brasstown Bald, you may choose to take the park shuttle to the top of the mountain, where a fantastic view and visitor center await. Or you may choose to hike up the paved path instead of taking the shuttle, if you prefer.
Currently, the Visitor Center is not suitable for those with wheeled assistance devices. You must be capable to climb 26 steps to the museum and another 24 to the optional upper viewing deck.
We'll also enjoy a brief Apple orchard stop on the way home at Jaemore Farms. You may bring a cooler along to stow under the motorcoach, in which to safely bring your purchased items home...apples, jams, cider donuts, apple bread, etc.
All-inclusive: Motorcoach transportation, Park admission, and driver gratuities. Jacque & Kent escorting.

Brasstown Bald is not a National Park, but because it falls within the Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest, the Parks Pass can be utilized.
