Tuesday, July 15th Cartersville! Booth Western Art & Bartow History
Cartersville is a smallish historical town north of Atlanta that boasts a handful of EXCELLENT Blue Star Museums! Ageless Adventures takes in two of these on this mid-summer day in Georgia! We are excited to visit both the The Booth Western Art Museum and the Bartow History Museum.
The Booth Western Art Museum is a highly acclaimed Smithsonian Institute Affilliate! A destination that so many of our clients have asked us about at one time or another. Many have testified of its excellence and how enjoyable a day here is!
Special Exhibitions going on during our visit include Western Costumes from the Silver Screen: The Davey Collection; Selling the Western: Movie Posters Old and New; & Booth Artist's Guild Annual Exhibition. Also featured at The Booth Western Art Museum is a fantastic outdoor sculpture gardens.
You will have opportunity for a guided tour. Or you can just set your own pace exploring to your heart's content. When you are ready to take a break for lunch, enjoy your choice of entrees right there on the grounds, at Blevin's Bistro.
Just down the street, we are also including the Bartow History Museum, a partner Blue Star Museum. This is a wonderful opportunity to get a glimpse of Georgia history in the making. Guided or self-paced tour is included here, as well.
All-inclusive day with both museums, lunch at Blevin's Bistro, motorcoach, & gratuities. Jacque & Kent escorting this day of touring.
